9-10/2025 - Do not update using any version of the 5000 software < 10.29.1.4. The update will fail and the controller will not come back properly. This is because the Daktronics signing key expired on 9/10/25.

To correct a system requires ssh. Steps:

Stop NTP and rollback the date (NTP will correct it after the dmp reboots)
  sudo systemctl stop ntp; sudo date -s '2025-09-09'

Copy to /home/vent/ and install the desired DMP version (DMP will reboot)
  sudo dpkg -i /home/vnet/dmp.deb12_10.28.0.51_amd64.deb
  sudo /var/packages/bootstrap.sh
